Studio K's in house Restoration Artist Karissa Blunck M. Photog. is an International Award Winning Restoration Artist. Her work has been published in the Professional Photographers of America’s Loan Collection and the Professional Photographers of Washington’s The Washington Photographer Journal.

In January 2020 at PPA’s Grand Imaging Awards, Karissa had two Restorations as Grand Imaging Award Finalists, Columbus School 1914 and Portrait of a Sailor, which were also published in the PPA 2020 Loan Collection. She was awarded 3rd Place Restoration for Columbus School 1914, a hand colored restoration of her Great Grandmother’s Class photo.

In 2020 she was also awarded Best Restoration at Professional Photographers of Washington’s Annual Photo Competition for Pretty in Pink, a hand colored restoration of her mother Kari J. Stuckey as a child. Karissa has a passion for restoring family heirlooms and an attention to detail.
